Rachel Smith

Rachel Smith was born on a U.S. Army base in Panama. She lived in Clarksville after her parents were stationed to Fort Campbell.[2] She attended Clarksville Academy and graduated from Davidson Academy for high school.
Smith is a magna cum laude graduate from Belmont University in Nashville, Tennessee in 2006 with a bachelor of science in Journalism. Smith graduated a semester early, in December 2006. She received a full tuition scholarship to attend Belmont due to her community service activities and academic achievements throughout high school.[3] While she was at Belmont, she interned in Chicago, Illinois for eight months with Harpo Productions, a company owned by Oprah Winfrey. In January 2007, it was announced that she had been chosen by Winfrey to volunteer for one month at her Leadership Academy for Girls.[4]


Rachel Renee Smith (born April 18, 1985 in Panama) is a beauty queen from Clarksville, Tennessee who won the Miss USA pageant in 2007 [1] and who previously had competed in the Miss Teen USA pageant.

Her third album Britney was released in November 2001, followed by a fourth album In The Zone in November 2003. The collection Greatest Hits: My Prerogative was released in November 2004. Her fifth album is scheduled to be released worldwide on November 12 and in the U.S. on November 13, 2007Spears's fame in the music industry has led her to experiment with other forms of media, including film and reality television. As an actress, she is most noted for her starring role in the 2002 movie Crossroads.[5] Spears has also made guest appearances in various other movies and television programs. Her success as a singer led her to several high-profile advertising deals and endorsements.
Spears's marriage to back-up dancer Kevin Federline and the birth of her two children, Sean Preston and Jayden James, put her music career on hold. The couple's divorce in November 2006 was highly publicized and followed by an on-going legal battle for custody of their two children.
